    My annual wisteria effort

    Every year I look at the beautiful wisteria growing against my house and try to come up with a different (and better) image than the previous years. But I seem always doomed to disappointment. But anyway, here are my efforts for this year, a view looking up the stem...

    Re: My annual wisteria effort

    the thing that annoys me about wisteria is the flow never last long, least mine don't

    I do like the first as it offers a nice lead into the flower so that works - but what is missing is a nice blue sky with some clouds I think, can you not edit the sky a tad

    the second is nice but prefer the first

      Re: My annual wisteria effort

      The Wisteria so far this year has looked great; and yours does too! Obviously enjoyed the dry'ish winter... Looks nicely established. Not often (at all???) you see flower detail; most shots concentrate on the full drop of flower heads... Good job.
      Cheers;

        Re: My annual wisteria effort

        Thanks, Ian and Lee, your comments are much appreciated. Yes, the flowers are only at their peak for a couple of weeks, and have already gone off the boil (and the petals are starting to pile up in my porch). It is 17 years old so pretty well established, but frustrating to get the 'perfect' image.
