    Typhoon and Hailstorm

    Hi All,

    Watched a Typhoon Display Practise yesterday, it was just 3 Degrees, 20MPH Winds and Hailing, quite unreal.

    Grey Typhoon against Grey skies, but it does show the Burners up well.

    Grey planes on grey days don't generally make for interesting viewing; but those burners warm you up a treat.
    Now; if there'd been some vapour on the wings as well
    Good job in tough conditions...
    Cheers;
    Lee

        Interesting set and I really do like the first I hadn't appreciated that the afterburners produce thrust in pulses (if that really is what I'm seeing)

        Cheers,
        John

            The A/B thrust is continuous John - the pattern is created purely by the speed of the exhaust ...
