After loving my trusty EOS550d for many years I finally upgraded to the new 77d after much deliberation about what to get. I chose this as it is slightly smaller than the 80d and this is important to me with the weight. One day in and I am a very happy bunny, it's so fast in comparison. You don't realise how sluggish your old equipment is until you try something new!

Re: EOS77d
I'll be interested to see how you get on. I was planning on upgrading to an 80D perhaps later this year but have also been considering the 77D for similar reasons to you.Chris

Re: EOS77d
Well, Chris, only had ownership for a day (not advertising but bought online from LCE as have local branch that doesn't stock it and excellent speedy service from them) and so far it's surpassed my expectations. Can't wait to get out in the field properly with it to test it out fully. And on the wriggly grandchildren!
