Nugget Point

Another New Zealand image, this time Nugget Point Lighthouse on the South Island. The lighthouse was a bit of a shock to me I expected to see a taller structure. But it does sit on a high point. There's a viewing platform (part visible to the right of the structure) beyond the lighthouse which is probably what people visit for.

Thanks Brian, Paul and John. It was an interesting place quite eerie looking out from the viewing platform listening to the seals calling below and watching the seabirds, someone said Albatross but it was too far away for my lens and the binoculars were in the car!

I can only echo the above really, nice composition and good depth to the image, I like the diagonal split between land and sea.
