    Lapwings everywhere

    In the part of Lincolnshire I go searching for the Barn Owl and Hares, there are Lapwings everywhere, seem very busy defending their nesting area from Crows, managed to catch quite a few 'in flight' shots.

      Lovely set Paul , the colours in the first are superb and the detail in the white underwing in the second is spot on.

        Excellent set; they really are a colourful bird; and tough to capture in flight. Great job.
        Cheers;

                  Nice images of a great bird. Sadly now where near as common as they use to be. Can be called pee with after the call or green plover for obvious reason.
