    Tornado at Ribblehead

    I had a run out at the weekend to meet up with an ex Canon user, I still consider him a friend even though he now uses a different camera brand .

    The weather and light were not good. But in photography you've go to go with what you have on the day.

    #1 Approaching the Ribblehead Viaduct.

    #2 Nearly there

    #3 An alternative (different image and composition) to #1

      When I clicked on this thread I was expecting afterburners ... however, the lack of wings doesn't detract from a great set of images ... number 1 has the edge for me ...

          Yes; I was expecting wings, rather than wails or wheels... Although 'Ribblehead' should have been the clue
          However, to the nitty-gritty... It's the #3 crop for me. #2 looks to be slightly OOF; but may be my eyes, or the upload...
          Cheers;

            Any decent Tornado pilot could have got through one of those arches, surely?!

            #3 for me.

              Like these.

              How about a more vintage mono look...

                Thanks Ian, I'm not sure about a colour cast. However I should have lifted the shadows on the viaduct a smidgen.

                  Re: Tornado at Ribblehead

                  Thanks all for taking time to look and comment, as an aside I prefer the second as it concentrates more on Tornado rather than the scenery/viaduct. Having noticed Nigel's comment regarding Vintage/Mono I've decided to share one of my conversions. But in a separate thread in the Black and white section.
