    Sorry, but the flair, the trees and all the cars, takes away from the structure.

      Sorry Jonathan; I'm not familiar with 'Laminar' and it's hard to see what you were trying to get out of this... The Coliseum is tough to shoot at the best of times and very hard to get something a little different; but it hasn't worked for me this time out... Hopefully you have others to play with.
      Cheers;
      Lee

        As I understand it Laminar is "Lightroom lite for the i-pad". That said, I am not sure what adjustments you might have made to the original image with Laminar, but I am afraid I have to agree with Tom & Lee - it doesn't really work.

        The cars and suchlike would be difficult to work round, but the intrusive lamp post on the right could perhaps have been avoided by moving your position and viewpoint a little.

          That fine, was only the first image that came to hand while playing with it. So used to using CS5 on windows base laptop.
          Will have look for some other images to play with and I come back with a before and after shot.
          But your right about flair but when we it was the quietest part of day so was behind. The other side of the Coliseum isn't as impressive as this side
