    Water Vole

    I am always elated to see these cute Voles these days , thanks to mink and very likely pollution and development , their numbers have dwindled drastically . I used to take these for granted when I was a kid , seeing them very often on my local river bank , but not any more . So chuffed to get some half decent photos of him / her .

      Re: Water Vole

      very nice to get a shot in the open as in 2 and 3.

      Got lots of shots of them at Arne RSPB last year but no sightings so far this year - may of course have be predated

          Excellent. I'm hoping just to see one this week (visiting Suffolk). If I get a shot, any shot, I'll be ecstatic!

                Great set, but #1 is super; something completely different ... it took me a while to work out that it's swimming among dandelion seed heads. Well done.
                Cheers;

                    Superb set, I would have loved to have got these, I drive up and down the Dykes virtually every day in Lincolnshire and yet never see any.

                    Regards Paul
