    Aldeburgh Scallop

I know that shots of this have been posted relatively recently but as we spent a few hours walking around Aldeburgh, I thought it prudent to get some shots of the 'Scallop' sculpture. It was mid-afternoon and the light a bit flat so I had a play with Affinity & HDR Efex. Comments & thoughts welcomed.

I like those Chris , the black and white version would make the perfect postcard .

I like both images but your HDR process has made the colour one pull some halos in. The B&W works very well, nice work

HDR has rather overprocessed the sky but the mono works very well

Thanks everyone. I agree that the mono is the better processed of the two. They are both from 'standard' versions created by HDR Efex (which I've not used much so far). Perhaps I'll try again with the colour version later.

As the guys have said the processing is a bit too much on the first, too strong colours for me and halos. Mono works really well though.

Thanks for looking & for your comments, Tony. Looks like there's a consensus on #1 then

For me the first one is just a little too blue, other than that I like it. It's ok in mono but personally the colour version wins out

Thanks Alan. I will probably reprocess the colour version slightly differently at some point.
