    Beetle for Breakfast...

    Caught this female Southern Ground Hornbill [click for information] in some nice early morning light rooting through some nice fresh Ellie dung for a beetle brekky. Got the beetle mid-air before it was no more...

                    Ian; mostly in-camera... Shot was at f/5 on a 100-400 at 220mm, so DoF was already quite shallow; just enough to cater for the (big) bird (although the tail is a little soft...)... then I gave the BG a little bit of help in PP using negative 'Structure' in Nik's Viveza module...
