    Stairway

    My Goth side really made me play with this image during processing :)

    Another good one Ian - you certainly have some nice buildings in your part of the world. Is it my imagination or is there a slight lean in the stairs; left side lower than right?

      Re: Stairway

      Enjoying the processing, and the tons of detail here; but the background doorway and landing area needs some perspective correction I feel. My eye is drawn to the off-line angles...
      Cheers;

        Re: Stairway

        thanks for the feedback Tony & Lee

        I've made a slight adjustment that maybe will address your points. The image has been twisted around quite a bit as I was at an odd angle taking this as I saw it the moment I walked into the building, so just managed to get this before loads of people came in. Then afterwards never had a clear shot, So processed this one

          I'm so used to seeing these shots without anyone in them it's easy to forget the 'public' may get in your way.

            yep annoying, I walked in and was able to get lined up quickly but I knew it wasn't totally right, but it was clear, that never happened again

              Re: Stairway

              I like how it leads you in , but think it would of looked better if you hadn`t clipped the arch at the top , sounds like you were in a bit of rush dew to the public though .

                  Another great shot Ian. You should really make all these types of images into a book or collection of some sort

                      I really like the symmetry of these sort of shots, well spotted

                        I really enjoy your 'mood' work Ian. Very nice. Can see what the others are saying and it would be nice to have all these locations to ourselves... dam public... but I can still enjoy the result of hard work.
