    Lighting up the Transporter

Yet again it's too wet for me to be pottering in the garden, so I decided to have a look back through my archived pictures and revisit one or two. This one is from October 2011, taken during the centenary celebrations of the opening of the Middlesbrough Transporter Bridge.

For those of a certain age who may remember the TV program, I can confirm that this bridge is still where it has always been and it was never transported a to and rebuilt across the Grand Canyon by the cast of "Auf Wiedersehen Pet".

I made this image using a 50D and a Sigma 10-20mm lens at 10mm the Exif was ISO100, f13 94 seconds. I sometimes wish I had a lens that wide for my 5D3.

Overall I like the image Peter, just find the blue reflection just in front of the boat a bit distracting

94 seconds ? That takes some skill and knowledge to pull off , great capture .

I see what you mean Stan, I was more concerned about the movement of the boat on the tide as it caused issues with the boat name (Northumbria) sadly I don't have an exposure showing the name clearly otherwise I may have use it to get a clean name.

Yes I do agree. Bit of cloning would sort it
