    The Cathedral Cave Menorca

These shots were each from hand held bracketed exposures which were merged and processed using LR and PS. Still tricky (for me) to do; leaving the sky through the mouth of the cave a little blown

It was quite a long challenging walk down into a gorge to get there. It shows you that Menorca is not just sea and beaches.

the inclusion of the people and horses gives a good sense of scale, shame about the blown sky

It is Stan; a tripod would have been useful for a greater range of exposures but I didn't have that luxury on this occasion.

agree about inclusion of the people and horses - nice work.. The sky with those extremes would have been very difficult to bracket even with a tripod I think - why not try flipping the sky, its what I've done a few times

"flipping the sky" not sure what you mean?

I may do - the only trouble is I would not want to lose the green trees in the cave opening and my PP skills may fall short of replacing the sky behind them - but I'll do some research.

What an interesting place mate. Agree that it’s worth having a go at replacing the sky in the first one.

                    Thought you'd enjoy this cave!

Your nš 2 had the lucky inclusion of some horses and was an easy task for your FF camera.

Nš 1 and 3 are both struggling with that bright exterior although you have some fine cave-wall detail.

I have tried this with in-camera bracketing with only moderate success but suspect I will have to return with tripod- preferably on a dull autumn day. Trouble is it's a bit of a hike...

Did you find the pitch-dark cave nearby?
Canon EOS R5, R6 plus the usual suspects ......

Yes; the cave was one of the highlights of the week. It was a bit of a challenge getting there and very slippery after the rain on our hike out. I managed to fall on my rear much to the amusement of the others. Climbing out we even saw a tortoise. We also found the pitch-black cave and as you know there is no flash on the 6D but, surprisingly, I managed to get a half decent image my phone.

Cheers Andy. The other shots I took without people or horses where not as effective.
