    Legends of Industry Weekend

    Went for a walk around the Causey Arch area today and caught a couple of the Trains running on the 'Legends of Industry ' Weekend at The Tanfield Railway .

    Both good with great exposure and detail, but #1 for me... 'ugly' or not... beauty is in the eye of the beholder

        It may not be famous as some of the other Heritage Lines but the Tanfield Railway is well worth a visit .
        It actually brings back Childhood memories for me , i was brought up in a North East Pit Village in the 60's and we had engines like Ugly running at the bottom of our back lane , i found some old photos on Flickr showing the engines , they can be seen on my 'Faves' Page part of the way down

              Would I be right in thinking the green saddle tank is a Hunslet? It's been nagging me as to why it looks a familiar design.
