    Just back from a couple of weeks touring the isles of Mull and Islay. Islay has the easiest place to photograph seals, they haul out on rocks in the harbour at Portnahaven just a few yards offshore,

                Is this a Grey or harbour Seal??? (As you can guess my seal knowledge is not up to speed )

                  I'm not good at recognising seals, but I think this is a grey seal judging by the shape of its head.

                    Great shot.

                    I have recently returned from a couple of weeks on Mull ............. interesting roads. Second gear at 25mph and meeting a double decker bus around a single track hair pin bend doing 50mph. One or two buttock clenching moments!
