    Sparrowhawk with Squirrel

    Some of you may have seen the photo with the Squirrel before , but I did not have a flikr account then , so this upload should look better . It`s not as sharp as it could of been , but the story content makes up for it I feel . I have added a couple more photos I took at the same time . She flew up to a better level with my upstairs window eventually .

          Hi Mark; well documented set... I'm amazed a squirrel would face up to a Sparrowhawk...

                              They certainly are Tony , My friend a forest keeper , told me he see a Grey Squirrel eat the chicks in a woodpecker nest , and they have also been clocked eating adult birds and road kill .
