There were a couple of these fields we saw on the way to Minsmere on Friday - who would have thought potatoes could be so colourful

I would have agreed and when we first saw the field the last thought was potato but when in the field it was more obvious as the rows were earthed up as for potato. I did a google search and found a few other shots of fields in the local area so perhaps it is a feature of East AngliaI would have bet money that spud flowers were all white... but it seems not!

Having looked at the thread a couple of days ago, I didn't comment. But thought to myself "I'm sure my potatoes have that coloured flower". Having wandered up the garden I can confirm that they do.
