Thanks Paul. Not seen so many Canada geese in the water. Perhaps the heatwave has got something to do with this. I could have used my wide angle lens to get all the geese into the frame but then the subjects would have appeared very small.

Yes; us too sadly. Like most introduced species they have become much more than just a pest... Egyptian Geese will be next to breed out of control... Outside of the luvvy brigades' protests, I've never really understood why they are not culled as a food source. Young birds (I understand) are perfectly edible, and culling the young for food supplies would start to have a dramatic impact on the wild populace methinks.
