A month or so ago, I managed to drop my pretty-well new 80D and in doing so jammed the main mode dial... in to Canon for a fixed-price repair... New top-plate required... 3 days later all done & dusted; good as new. Happy days...
Then... last week, the Aperture/Diaphragm assembly failed on my most used lens - my Mk1 10 year old 24-105 f/4L... in to Canon for a fixed-price repair... New assembly required... 3 days later all done & dusted; good as new; and hopefully set to give me another 10 years of excellent service.
Nice to get good service and to recognise it. Sadly today, in general, customer service is but a dim & distant memory of times past! Top marks to Canon Elstree...
