    Twins!!!!!

    Not the puritan's view point but I wanted to take the mane of both these wild ponies! They never showed up best on a frontal picture. Not sure which is the better of the two!

        Thanks Mark and Tom for your comments. I was particularly careful not to give a "mooning" view of the rear of the ponies. Perhaps I cannot win all the time!

              Possibly because not all free roaming horses are left out during the harsher winter weather and receive food and care before they are let out during the spring.

                Nat, if you want our focus to be on their gorgeous glossy manes rather than their bottoms, how about cropping right into them with a portrait format crop? If you did do this, I think the second would work better with the better defined ears.

                  Agree with this - it certainly looks sharp enough on Flickr.

                              to be honest, Mark has hit the nail on the the head with his comment and whether cropped close or not you still have subjects facing away from you
