    Aldeburgh Beach

    Aldeburgh Beach in Suffolk is similar in some ways to Dungeness, less bleak but with many abandoned fishing boats left and preserved as a reminder of past days. The dozer in this one was presumably used to pull the boats from the sea after the days fishing

    Nice shot Stan; I like the processing - did you photograph the scallop shell sculpture further up the beach.

            Both the bulldozer & boat were being used last October. I spend a week on this coast every year in October and the boats do seem to be getting fewer.

                thats interesting as it didnt look like it had gone anywhere for some time, although there were others that looked much less seaworthy
