    E-Type

    My village had a Classic Car Show the other weekend and there were some magnificent cars on show. Unfortunately they are parked so close together and there is always someone looking at them.
    Managed to "grab" this one of one of the E-Types on show.

      Unfortunately they are parked so close together and there is always someone looking at them.
      always seems to be the way and the best way of shooting them, i find, is just to concentrate on detail rather than the whole car

          I was going to do that but as I had been asked to photograph the event with the brief being to take photos of the cars in their entirety if possible. There were over 400 cars on the day plus the presentations in the afternoon. Made it rather a busy day.

              Hasn't quite come out so well on here, a little too contrasty and lacking some detail. The lighting does accentuate those beautiful curves though.

                  You can keep your American muscle cars; what a magnificent piece of work the E-type was; and this c. 43 year old car looks fabulous...
