            Brownsea has been a bit of a dead loss for birds for some time now, few seem to come close enough for a decent shot and if not for the squirrels I probably wouldnt bother now...and gets a bit expensive as now for a start it is £10 to park near the ferry

              Lovely shots, Stan. In an ideal world you'd have the light of #1 with the pose (which I prefer) of #2.

                  In an ideal world you'd have the light of #1 with the pose (which I prefer) of #2.
                  both were shot around an hour after sunrise but the second after an overnight violent thunderstorm but the skies were still quite blue

                  A final shot, this of a different bird but shot a couple of minutes before the first shot in the thread. I was of a mind to do a bit of cloning on the beak but I think its a shell hes picked up
