    Leucistic Carrion Crow

Had this visitor to my garden yesterday and the day before. Taken through the bedroom window.

Well spotted very unusual -- it might be a Crow in winter camouflage

Very nice, though the first one looks more like a rook than a crow - the line of the head through the beak is different.

Clever things them Crows. Just when you think they are all black and nasty, up pops a white one.

          Well seen and taken.

Definitely a Carrion Crow Andy, both shots of the same bird.

              Re: Leucistic Carrion Crow

How strange, with the shape of the forehead and throat in the first I would swear they're both different birds. But then the crow in one of your other shots on flickr has the same forehead shape as the leucistic bird and all of the carrion crow shots I've found don't have that shape.

              Colour me perplexed.

Sure you haven't washed it in Daz? that's a new one on me... excellent work.

I wonder how the others treat it.
