    Rosebush reservoir (I think), Pembrokeshire

    Returning from a visit to a former colleague of SWMBO's last week, we passed this view and I had to stop to take a shot of it. I am not completely confident in my identification of the place (since we were out in the depths of rural Wales), but reasonably certain.

    A close look will reveal a remnant of one of Dr Beeching's casualties.

      The railway closed way before Dr Beeching.

          just came across this John,
          yes believe it is rosebush res, old railway served the slate quarry at rose bush, you should have stopped at the red zinc shed tavern for real ale and a meal. brought up in the area, my bros live at pontfaen gwaun valley.

          Nice panorama especially when zoomed in nice one.
