Yep, here they are, spot the difference lol, One Explore, one not, just trimmed a branch

    Explore

Taken at Calke Abbey, and a slightly different angle from the previous shot.

    and one not

    southderbyshiredistrict, england, unitedkingdom, gb

Hence why I do not put much kudos on it anymore.

Yep, why I say getting selected for a group banner means more to me. I'd argue with your three though, according to Flickr Scout you've had five in Explore, though two got dropped - see here http://bighugelabs.com/scout.php with your Flickr ID 142550108@N08...

I never knew, so what does it mean if they are still in it, does that mean for that date? I wondered why my Butterfly did so well as I didn't rate it LOL, the only time I have known when I was in it was when someone said congrats on Explore, and the first time it went crazy so I had to google it to find out what it was. Until you posted this I hadn't even heard of Scout either lol.

I think what happens is that sometimes shots in the upper 400 range get ejected from explore if there's a better shot down below. There is some element of manual curating that goes on but not the original selection.

My first shot happened while I had he Flickr app installed so I was woken by dozens of pings that a shot has-been faved at silly o'clock on a Saturday morning. Then spent the rest of the day watching the view count go up...

Next time it happens you should get an invite to the in explore group which is a sure sign...
