Always fun to experiment with macro, it's a new world in there

The flash spoils nš 4 for me - a clear indication of artificial. Do you think cloning the flashlight out would improve it or does it still need some internal twinkle?

I'm pretty ignorant of all matters flash so I'd be interested to hear from someone how the flash is eliminated from the shot- is this something to do with 2nd curtain sync or do you need a ring flash on the lens ?

I'm no expert either...it is a ring flash.
Since hi ISO performance has improved flash is used much less

I ned to experiment....thanks for your comments Bo
