    Lordington Lavender

    A lavender farm near Chichester which had a paid for open week last week plus getting there early avaided too many people around

          Very nice composition Stan, may I suggest removing the bird in the sky at the left, as it's not up to your usual bird image standard

              Nice image Stan Our local lavender farm opens until 9pm twice a week; I'm just waiting for a decent weather evening to get up there.

                  Our local lavender farm opens until 9pm twice a week
                  thats good for golden hour shots which were not possible at ours which was strictly 10 am to 5.30 pm

                    Looks like you had a rather better day than when my Club went there. We went to a special evening session a few years back but sadly the weather closed in a bit quick and the light was a bit flat and dull...

                    I keep intending to go back as it's not far away and every year I forget to check the dates...

                          they have an online shop selling essential oils balms body lotions lavender pillows etc under their own label. Not clear if they wholesale or not.

                          They also hire the field for family photo , pre wedding shoots or general commercial work at £500 a 4 hour session !!

                            Did my annual visit to our local lavender field on Sunday but sadly the whole of SW London was there too. Used to be an undiscovered gem but not now! Never even got my camera out of its bag.
