A simple landscape

I've taken this scene many times, and this time the light was good....with a veiled threat of storm...

Nice warm lighting. I think a step to the right to add a little more of the path would be good, but still nicely composed Brian

Its delightfully simple but to be honest I'm not getting much of a sense of storm threat however veiled it may be...

To me the sky is a touch bland and lacking definition and the foreground colour is a bit washed out - typical of a bright day though.

I had a go at putting a bit more into the sky using levels and multiply mode, partially masked to allow extra colour into the grasses.

The edit has made it 'pop' more but perhaps a shame the sky wasn't more dramatic to give more of an impression a storm was coming
