St Modwen's, the developer has done a great job over the last 10 years in restoring the gardens and injecting new life...there is still work to do on some of the old buildings which I hope one day will be used again

A good and varied set Personally I'd crop up to the bottom of the pink flowers in the OOF forground in the second.

          Cheers,

              Re: New Trentham Gardens

Thanks Brian for some "proper" shots of Trentham Gardens! Took me right back to my youth-- bus N/C to Trentham then entrance to the gardens, walk past the lake and along to the open-air swimming pool.

I particularly like the last shot, this lovely old building would a warrant further trip back with perhaps more than your 100mm lens. I think you could access this from the Park side ?? But I guess they don't let you get near it due to H&S issues. I do like a delapidated building but you'd think with all the revenue from the Gardens they would have got further along with the restoration project.

Anyway thanks for showing these, much appreciated

Thanks Bo, as you say access is pretty much denied....there was to be a hotel very near there but I don't think they got planning permission...they've done a great job and we count ourselves very lucky to have it so near.....we took the dog around the lake last night, a hot air balloon took off as we got near the bottom end...it really was a classic English evening scene ....shame I only had my phone with me else I'd post some pics.
                  thanks for your comments.

Nice set Brian; they certainly give a good feel for the venue.
