    1st time at Croft Circuit

New circuit for me, Croft in the North of England. Horrendous journey both ways (thought motorways were introduced to help with traffic, not make huge parking lots for hours at a time) Anyway, weatherman said heavy rain all weekend so on with the full 'wets' and after a small shower Saturday morning the sun came and I did a great impression of a 'boil in a bag', Sunday I thought 'not going to fall for that again' so just a jacket and rain cover for the camera in my pocket - dry most of the day until the last couple of races then the atlantic dropped in which made for an interesting end to the day - had to drive back to the hotel in just a shirt and my boxers, reception girl thought it was amusing lol. A few that I like from the weekend, all with the 1DXmkII and the 70-200 2.8 mkII / 1.4 mkIII extender

    #1 - on reflection

#2 - light shower on Saturday

#3 - Special Saloon track drying Escort

#4 - just checking the recycled gravel

#5 - did I mention it started to rain on Sunday

#6 - in fact it got a little moist to say the least lol

Such a range of cars / series it really is hard picking just a few to show, if you fancy a look the full galleries are:

    SATURDAY

    SUNDAY

Thanks for looking and sorry for the photo overload

Thanks Gary, if you mean the fire breather then it runs in the Super Saloons and Modsports - it's listed as Ford Escort BDT (T) 1800, year 2015

            Great photos David
It is a circuit I've yet to visit as well.

Did you think it worth while even with the traffic mayhem ?
            Regards,

              Thanks guys.

Jeff - Surprised myself with this one - YES I really do think it's worth a visit, there is good high banking in the 'best' area's the majority of the 'back of the circuit' has chest / shoulder height fencing so easy to shoot over the top of with fields and trees as your backdrop. Really nice clean little circuit.

Cheers David, I will have to make the effort as your photos look great, managed Knockhill last year so no excuse for this one

Off to Snetterton at the weekend, handy for me as we have our boat on the Norfolk Broads only 30 minutes away from the circuit.
So thats the overnight accommodation sorted
                Regards,
