    ...the end for the tree

    This tree was well loved as a particularly characterful example along my daily walk with the dog....the council have kept a watch on it since it lost a few branches over the last few years...sadly they've decided enough was enough....

    last week they removed the lower branches...

    and this week they've taken the rest away to leave the main trunk...it will all be left now to rot and generate new insect life for the wildlife food chain cycle (5D3 17-40 f4L Neutral Grad)

      what a shame as from the first shot it made a good image. Re the last, with all those "sticks" to choose why did he pick up a small one
