    Had to make a foray into Suffolk to photograph these!

    #2 for me; nice & clean - but, IMHO, needs a little exposure lift to brighten the image...

    You could push the white slider in levels quite a way in... I took it all the way in to 160 without blowing any whites. It improves contrast as well. Then a little noise reduction on the background...

      Well worth the trip - they are lovely flowers (they were my father's absolute favourite) and you have caught them well - No. 1 for me.

        they are good flowers to shoot but often quite difficult to get a reasonable background - you have done well with both but I prefer the single stem of the two

        Agree with Lee regarding exposure

            Super subject, super images...I agree with Lee regarding post processing.....but its all personal preference.
