    Re: Bear Creek Lake

Hello Tom. Fantastic waterfall thing going on there and I just love the colour on the water and the placid lake in the background. Looks like a great photo location. The shot seems to be running down a bit and it's not coming together compositionally for me.

How about zooming in on just a section of the waterfall and down where the water hits? Or if you can't get back there maybe just a much tighter crop of this shot? Just an idea.....  might work?

I like that a lot - two images for the price of one! Is it slightly off horizontal though, or is that an optical illusion?

Lovely image, Tom, what a fantastic effect that certainly makes you look twice to work it all out. Given that the curtain of water is so graphic, I really think it would be better with the top of it straight, but part from that it is wonderful.

Thanks Alex, did double check it LR and it's as straight as it can be.

Superb...a horizontal will look at a bit of a tilt if you are not absolutely perpendicular so the image is probably correct but our eyes are playing tricks.....could try the Horizontal adjustment in lightroom rather than vertical or rotate?
