Thanks Bo. Was looking at secondhand with a limit of £700 (ish). Most on MPB, Wex etc were far more than that, as were pretty much all those on eBay. I knew HDEW were a good price and the extra £20 off made it too good an offer, especially with a three year warranty.

Just been drumming my fingers too (another supplier) 6D MK II arrived today I'm sure you'll be enjoying the 80D soon - great camera.

Mine should be here in 3-5 days, so by the weekend, with a bit of luck.

And the answer is: just about now, 48 hours later!

I certainly can't fault HDEW's service, although the outer box was a bit battered (courtesy of FedEx no doubt) and I've yet to get home, unpack it & check it all out.

HDEW are excellent and give good service. A couple of weeks ago I bought a new EF 100 f2.8L IS macro for £620, over £200 cheaper than any other UK dealer

I looked at HDEW following recommendations on this forum. However, I was surprised to find that their prices for Sigma are actually higher than from suppliers such as WEX. In general, one doesn't save nearly as much on Sigma from grey suppliers such as DigitalRev as on Canon. This seems to confirm general opinion that Canon's normal profit margin per item is much higher than Sigma

That's still more than I paid WEX before Xmas (after Canon cashback) !!!!!

Cheers Lee. I did think I might get one cheaper if I waited until the run up to Christmas or for another Canon cash back offer but I also decided that I didn't want to wait any longer than I already had!
