New Camera Strap with a difference

I noticed we were having the discussion about straps in the long lens query, I thought I would mention this...because it looks superb

Magpul are a US firearms company that does quick detachable weapons harnesses for the likes of the M16, something that has to be built well for military service, these in fact.

Well RRS have started to incorporate the mount into their L plates and also to a plate that can connect to the ARCA system... how cool is that? it uses a pip pin to attach to the lens or camera.

Elevate your photography with quick and seamless Magpul Gen 2 MS4 Dual QD Sling. Discover the RRS-QD Integration for Security, Speed, and a Low Profile.

There is a new player in the camera strap game and it's an old friend. Really Right Stuff has begun shipping straps and plates that utilize the military-grad...

Looks longer in that, they do an adaptor so you can use your existing strap. for what its worth the engines in the Jaguar fighter jet are held in by one bolt and two pip pins, though to be fair they are taking the forces in a different direction.

the bottom fitting does have dual mounts so you could add a second attachment point, or indeed another strap, I bet you could probably extend it too.

        Provides two to one-point convertibility

Looks as you said, interesting though.
