I do like your composition Stan the coil of wire and the coloured rope all work well together. Did you notice the colour change in the water on the right it is green but on the left it seems blue to my eyes, but I could be wrong as it could be land on the left rather than water. Is this an in camera HDR Stan.

That's probably because the right hand side is nearer to the outfall into the sea, so that half is radioactive
Did you also notice Stan, that some of the old sheds have been demolished. I was told by one of the wardens that photographers were bringing down models and sitting them on top of the sheds, which were in danger of collapse anyway. Another guy lifted his children on top of one of the sheds.

I did an in camera HDR but this one is a toned down version processed with Photomatix. Have looked at the individual frames and the in camera HDR and they all have that slight difference in colour of the water left and right so can only assume it is the light

must get back there at some stage... if I ever free up any time
we went last year and it is quite interesting to see that there are one or two new old boats on the beach, and some from last year and the sheds have deteriorated very much further

Nicely done. I like the processing - looks almost like painting.

Like that a lot Stan. I really must get down there again myself when the weather is not so hot and sunny. Some angry clouds would be good

Eh? We're wall-to-wall with angry clouds at them moment and I haven't seen "hot & sunny" since June!

changed quite a bit from last year with some boats in a much worse state and some of the huts gone - apparently dismantled by the wardens due to health and safety
