    Corys Shearwater

Taken on a recent holiday to Madeira , probably one of the hardest bird shots I have tried to capture as the birds were flying fast, skimming over the ocean and I was perched on the edge of a Catamaran being thrown in all directions on the Atlantic waves. In view of the shooting conditions I was pleased to capture these as I had never seen a Corys before .

Shearwaters are never easy to photograph so good skill needed. Both are really good but first is brilliant. Excellent work.

            Re: Corys Shearwater

            Love the first one.

Shooting birds in flight is pretty difficult as it is, but add in the rolling of a boat and you make it into the nearly impossible zone.
