    South Korea

    These are from 2008.....just reprocessed while archiving....all using the 400D. The first is a memorial to the Korean War.....which at the time involved more nations (19 I think) than any other single conflict. The figures are receding sizes representing the numbers of personnel deployed by each nation...I think the UK was only second to the US

            Thanks Guys...I sincerely hope military threats are not further escalated in the region...a visit to the military museum there is worth every minute and I'd recommend a visit if you find yourself with that opportunity

              Nice shots..

              Out of interest has no one noticed the glaring error???

              I will give you a clue, it used to be a Royal Navy signal that they were in distress.

                    Re: South Korea

                    Amazingly I didn't notice....but I have on two occasions - once in Canada and the other in UAE where I asked the firm (who I was visiting anyway) to correct them and of course they did.
                    The flag is raised in honour of the UK for its part in the war...so no insult intended I'm sure.

                      Re: South Korea

                      Hi Brian; with ever improving software (and our better understanding of how to use it properly) it's always good to look back at older images and see what we can do today to improve our original processing...

                      #1 I think would be ideal for one of your mono conversions! I had a real quick play using a stock Photomatix Tonemap and I think it looked pretty good... It really draws the detail on the uniforms out... Worth a play methinks...
                      Cheers;
                      Lee
