if you catch them while they are feeding they always hang around until finished, even if disturbed they will often just fly around and come back to almost the same spot.I saw one of these yesterday but it would stay still.

the prey was one of the smaller flesh flies but even so it does give a good idea of the comparative size of the robbersand a great comparison for size difference
