    The Study

    Shot during the daytime but processed darker so I could use the lights that were on - Its also been processed to offer a painting type look that I think some won;t like, but its something I think worked

    Well I like it!

    Did your processing include any noise reduction - if so then does that help to give the soft 'painterley' effect?

    Then again, it might be my eyesight!

      Works for me; good verticals and the processing certainly achieved the effect you were looking for. I guess this is a part of your hotel suite you were stuck in with the rain in Holland

        yes noise reduction was used as I was shooting at 10,000 ISO but also the effect used does give a soft processed look to the image, so its not your eyes :)

                              Where's the laptop???

                              Very nice Ian. Despite the darker tone, there's still bags of detail in there. Something you could keep going back to time and again... Processing has definitely worked for me!
