Found this little beauty in the same vicinity as I photographed one last year but have never seen the pair although I have heard two birds calling to each other this year and last , think I need to put more time in as I am sure there must be a breeding pair.Little Owl (Athene noctua ) by steve dawes, on Flickr

Nice captures Steve, I just can't catch my local one, I think he has seen me too many times and he takes off as I arrive now so have been keeping away
