Delightful Trevor. It's the only way we would ever get to see these li'l critters.

I would be tempted to make the extra catchlight in the eye disappear and made lose some of the space on the right.

Thanks Colin, sort of a test shot been getting my old studio up and running again, this one was already in there - let him/herself in. Catchlight in the eye are the two photo floods, will bring one up and over - need a few brackets.

        Re: Wood Mouse

A friend of mine has recently been on a photographic afternoon with a local guy that does various captive mammals, but she wanted the mice. She ended up with many creditable pictures and is now determined to buy her own mice and set up some natural environments for them.

She did ask that I get involved with her on this, but my problem is that I decide on a project, give it 110%, exploit it to death and when I can't do any more, I walk away from it. Probably not in the best interest of the mammals involved, but I am comfortable their welfare will be top of the agenda where she is concerned.

Colin where is she going to buy mice - the White ones yes but not wild mice I hope. Mine sort of let themselves in by way of a tunnel very much like a duck decoy, then the door shuts behind them. Over the years I've filmed mice, voles, shrews, stoat and weasel in the studio, but it's set up for filming, I need to do some alterations with regards to lighting etc to make it into a photographic studio.

Lovely shot, as Colin said, a tad too much space on the RHS for ideal positioning, really sharp
