    Shingle Street

I had a trip up to the Ipswich area on Saturday. He's an image from Shingle Street.

Thanks Stan. This was the last shot at the location and it seemed to work best.

                Wonderful shot.

What did you think of Shingle Street? it's a very unusual place with a mysterious past

That white cottage makes the whole shot. Perfect positioning for great composition.

Cheers Paul. I'd like to go back at first light but it's not just down the road for me. There's certainly opportunity for a few different shots there. It's very isolated and I can imagine it's quite a place when a storm is blowing. I did read up about the past. I guess you are referring to 1940. I think most believe there's not much in that story.

Thanks Colin. Completely agree; it wouldn't be much without the cottage.

I like this a lot. Not sure that I agree about the cottage though. That said I wouldn't clone it out, but if it wasn't there I don't think the pic would miss it.
