Fungi -- Autumn is starting to arrive

Signs of an early Autumn ( I think I got them right but I stand to be corrected on the naming)

Very nice, very good detail in the first one.

Why would you go for a drink with a mushroom? Cos he's a fun guy to be with...

We usually spend a day in the forest and at Kingston Lacy photographing the fungi so looking forward to more sessions this year. Looks like you have the ID spot on, in english , the first , a common puffball and the second a violet webcap - I think there are a few similar and sometimes difficult to tell before they fully develop.

Detail in the puffball is excellent but the background in the second is a bit messy. I always keep a pair of scissors in my bag and do a bit of gardening. Also while I can, get down as low as possible (Dee is always there to help me back up again)

              Thanks everyone for your comments.

Stan, know the feeling, the old knees are not up to crawling about, although walking OK. Never considered KL for Fungi, always have time in the Forest.
