...one of the yet to be renovated buildings at Trentham Gardens....this was the entrance to the main hall at some point....needs a bit of TLC.

I like this lots......and not just because it brings back memories. So sad to see this beautiful building in disrepair.

Just blown it up on my iPad and it definitely warrants some close up studies of the twiddles on top or the arches.

thanks Nigel.....it does seem a bit beyond recovery to say the least! The owners of the site, StModwens, have done a brilliant job in restoring the gardens and establishing new buildings providing lots of eateries and retail shops. Shame the old buildings are uneconomical to restore. Thanks for commenting.
