    abstract while working

    EOS 100D 50mm 1.8 STM at ISO8001 f3.2 1/20th

Interesting how the lighting has made the colours gold...as there are only LED lights in the room, but I thought it was a good effect so boosted it up (The metals are titanium and chrome....so should be silver)....

Good use of the DOF to isolate the parts you want the viewer to look at.

Very effective with a wafer thin DoF - and you didn't even use the maximum aperture of the lens

        Cheers,

Thanks Chris, Tom & John...I was surprised by how shallow the dof is without opening right up too.

According to the EXIF you were 0.35m away - at that range DOF is naturally shallow. According to DOFMaster it'd be about 1cm which looks about right...
