    Hawker Flight

Well the darter in flight got little interest so how about this one, a southern hawker, even more difficult as it was shot over the pond at Hinton Ampner house and I only had my 24-105

Amazing enough as it is, with a 24-105 even more so! You the man Stan!

          Re: Hawker Flight

I know how difficult it is to get these. I spent half an hour last week, lots of Common darters around, could hardly get one in the viewfinder, let alone in focus, before they shot off. Not one single image. Very frustrating.

            thanks guys

There were two flying over the pond and we spent around half an hour before we got some acceptable images. They are difficult anyway but so much harder than using a longer lens. Of course this is a bit of a crop. Dee also left her long lenses at home and captured a couple of similar shots just using the long end of her 15-85
