    A Geordie Black 5 (built at Armstrong Whitworths on the Banks of the Tyne) entering Pickering in the Pouring Rain .

        The rain was unbelieveable at that time , it kept changing all the time , this was the same train 4 1/2 hours later at the next station.....

          That first shot is amazing.

          Brave the weather and get the shots that others don't, because they are indoors next to a warm fire. There are some great shots to be had in stormy weather or rain and you have proved the point here. Well worth the soaking.

              Nice work Gordon, as others have said the original image is a keeper. To my eyes it shows the weather conditions better than the two conversions. Well done for braving the weather

                    Good to see your different options.
                    For me the first one shows the rain better, the others look more like an old distressed image.
                    So all three are good, but the first has it by a whicker for me.
