    First ever Kingfisher

    Hi All,

Have seen very few Kingfishers and this is the first I have ever photographed, sadly it was hissing down with rain when it turned up, I had been sat in a bird watching hide and had some lovely light but it waited for the rain!!

Am still very pleased though to get something and not a Hare in sight!!

very good for a first Paul

You could probably lift the exposure and or shadows of the first to make it pop more

Very nice, agree with Stan re the first image.

Had to go to Wales to get a good capture myself, had seen else where but usually too distant.

Have discovered one locally and have good idea where they may nest so hopefully a project for next year.
